Absolute Values

Tell the truth, who would you rather work for, who would you rather have as the leader of your office, department, division, or whatever? Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama?

That’s what I thought.

The thing that makes Hillary Clinton ultimately unelectable is her persona. She doesn’t come across with any of that Bill Clinton charisma that made him so eminently likable. While arguably highly intelligent and a driving force behind Bill Clinton’s political career, she is the Democratic Party’s version of Newt Gingrich: perhaps smart, wickedly evil, and scoring zero in the likability department. To be perfectly honest, she comes across as the B word, and before anybody suspects a sexist double standard I will point out that if Condoleeza Rice were running she would not have nearly as much the B factor going against her.

Condoleeza is a bitch for only one reason and that is because she supports the torture of enemy combatants. When ends justify the means then we have lost any moral ground in which to criticize the actions of 9-11 and we must regard Bin Laden and Al Qaeda as moral equals to ourselves and I’m not prepared to do that. Hillary Clinton, however, is a bitch for a different reason and that is because, rather than being a public servant and defender of freedom, she seeks to rule over her subjects with an iron fist. She wants to torture all of us in order to realize her grand scheme of socialized health care. Given the chance she will turn America’s health system into another Canada with one exception and that is that, Canadians who must wait for months in order to get life-saving operations currently have the option of coming to the US to pay for immediate health care. If Hillary’s plan goes through and the United States gets similarly mucked up, where are critically ill Americans going to fly to to get immediate help? Nowhere.

The United States was the last bastion of freedom and the fact that she seeks to destroy that makes her the biggest bitch of all. I am somewhat heartened that she is falling behind Obama but to be honest I don’t even know what his health care plan is. The only thing I know is that Hillary says his plan doesn’t cover everybody which at least gives me hope that his plan isn’t quite as despotic, but that isn’t really saying much.

Whatever is a real American to do? I don’t know. Who is John Galt?

Yeah, she supported “torturing” all three of the ones we’ve waterboarded, if you consider waterboarding torture, that is.

In any event, I would rather work at a business Hillary ran, because I think it would do better. Obama would always be late with payroll because cashflow was wrong, we would chase wild schemes instead of our core market, etc. (I’ve worked for both types.)

The difference there is that Hillary can’t be too much of a B or everyone will quit. You can’t quit a country like you can quit a job.

If there are tolerable degrees of torture we must also accept tolerable degrees of rape and slavery. And that’s thinking like a democrat.

If I’m not mistaken, the difference between Canada’s system and Hillary’s proposed one is that Canada actually directly funds the health insurance providers whereas Hillary would divert some amount of taxes (after reverting the retarded Bush tax cuts) towards giving people money to spend towards shopping for health insurance.

Our insurance providers and hospitals would remain private corporate entities; Canada’s history of health care began with “state” funding of provincial physicians in the forties.

What Hillary is proposing is no different than Bush’s economic stimulus plan.

    Get a grip, dood.

Noooo, Bush’s plan is giving back a little to the people who all chipped in on the pizza. Hillary’s plan is to provide pizza to the ones who didn’t chip in by means of the ones who did put in.
